Situated between the two bustling towns
of Beckenham and West Wickham and only 12 miles from the centre
of London, Park Langley contains some of the larger properties
to be found in the area. From the small, distinctive parade
of shops at the Chinese Roundabout to the green, leafy Langley
Park Golf Course, the majority of the properties in Park Langley
lie in wide, tree lined quiet roads. Housing is detached and
often set in substantial gardens, all of which seem to be permanently
tended to by a work force of private gardeners. Properties date
from the 1930's and 40's onwards, although the occasional 1960's
structure punctuates the suburban backdrop.
The largest of the properties lie to the Beckenham side, as
house size decreases as you head towards West Wickham. Park
Langley's popularity is derived from its location. Close to
the stations of West Wickham, Eden Park and Beckenham providing
regular routes into London Bridge, and the shops and schools
of Bromley and Croydon, the whole area is conveniently placed
for all of life's everyday requirements.
