Often seen as the poor relation to neighbouring
Hampstead and home to some fairly grim council estates, yet
for those who look a little closer there are many handsome Victorian
properties at a fraction of the cost of those in NW3. Kentish
Town still has its share of scruffy corners and crumbling estates,
but offers a location close to the Heath and a source of two
and three-storey Victorian terraces for the bargain hunter.
Dartmouth Park is home to well looked after, large three and
four-storey Victorian terraces and well attended gardens.
